Does Bailey offer rentals?

Sum

Yes — Bailey does offer rentals, but they are handled on a case-by-case basis. Since our equipment is built-to-order, we typically require a minimum rental term of 6 months.

For most explosion-proof units, the minimum rental term is usually 12 months.

Do you have a certification for your EX or EE rated units?

Sum

Yes. All of our EX and EE rated units are certified by an independent third party to verify they meet the required hazardous-location safety standards.

Our units are certified through either: Factory Mutual (FM), or TÜV.

What’s the difference between Ex-rated and EE-rated aerial lifts?

Sum

EE-Rated Aerial Lifts (“Electrical Enclosed”) has its major electrical components — such as motors, wiring, switches, and controllers — fully enclosed. This enclosure helps prevent sparks or heat from those components from coming into contact with flammable atmospheres

Ex-Rated Aerial Lifts (“Explosion-Proof”) is engineered for the highest level of protection and is intended for use in explosive atmospheres. Unlike EE, Ex equipment is designed so no internal spark, arc, or heat source can ignite the environment around the lift.
